Joining forces with bikers to deliver food parcels to those in need

A charity in Basford has called on the help of specialist blood bikes as they become inundated with requests from older people in need of food during the coronavirus pandemic.
Mesopotamia was founded by mum-of-three, Rachel Miller in 2015 and has a shop and café in Valley Road, Basford.
Both Rachel and her team of staff and volunteers work everyday to help people living in poverty but following the coronavirus outbreak and subsequent Government measures the charity has been overwhelmed by people in need.
